Before joining Piccolo Heath as partner, Adrian held a senior in-house roles at leading global organization, managing employment litigation and providing strategic guidance across Canada, the United States, and Latin America. That in-house perspective shaped his commercially pragmatic, business-aligned approach to advising clients today.

With nearly two decades of experience, Adrian's practice spans domestic and global employment law: workforce development strategy, restructuring, investigations, human rights, employment standards, labour relations, and cross-border compliance. He has advised both private and public sector employers, in unionized and non-unionized environments, on matters ranging from mergers and acquisitions to employment-related class actions.

What sets Adrian apart is his knack for taking what looks like an impossible knot and offering a surprisingly simple way through it, backed by fearless advocacy and sound judgment. Fluent in French and conversational in Spanish, he supports diverse workforces and multinational clients in their own language.

A Lexpert Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40 honouree, Adrian served as previous Chair of the Roundtable of Legal Diversity Associations (RODA) and gives back through board service with Casey House, Pro Bono Ontario and the HIV/AIDS Legal Clinic of Ontario (HALCO).

An avid consumer of the live arts, Adrian can often be found at the opera, ballet, symphony, or theatre.

Adrian earned his LL.B. and LL.L. at the University of Ottawa, with a semester at l'Université libre de Bruxelles. Adrian also completed two years at McMaster (with a third year abroad at Université Lumière Lyon 2) in their Arts & Science Program before flitting off to law school early.
