Brooke takes workplace problems off her clients' plates so they can get back to running their businesses.

Before becoming a lawyer, Brooke worked for Ontario's Minister of Labour as an issues manager, legislative assistant, and policy advisor. That experience made her realize how employment law touches everyone, whether they're an employer or an employee. It also means she understands the province's labour and employment framework from the inside out.

Now with over eight years of practice, Brooke assists employers, unionized and non-unionized, from multinationals to small family businesses, with hiring to firing and everything in between, from policy development and accommodation to employment agreements, termination letters, severance negotiations, and litigation when it's needed. Her labour law background means unionized employers are in equally capable hands.

Brooke's focus is on putting people at ease. She knows every situation is different and every employer's needs are unique, so she tailors her advice accordingly, and she genuinely enjoys taking some of the burden of running a business off her clients' shoulders.

Brooke serves as a board member at Nucleus Independent Living and has presented for the HRPA, the OCA, and Workplace Law Talks.

Outside of work, she's happiest spending time with her young family, being outdoors, and trying new restaurants.

Brooke earned her LL.M. from Osgoode Hall Law School and holds an LL.B. from the University of Edinburgh.
