Sally Kim
B.A (Hons), J.D. | Lawyer
Sally helps clients navigate complex workplace issues with strategic and results-oriented advice. She focuses on practical solutions that work with a client’s needs and risk tolerance, not just the letter of the law.
Her practice includes advising clients on employment standards and human rights compliance, wrongful dismissal claims, and labour relations.
Sally brings a strong litigation background to her labour and employment practice. Prior to joining Piccolo Heath, Sally articled and practiced at a global law firm, where she focused on litigation, before joining the labour and employment group of a national full-service law firm. Her litigation experience enables her to provide strategic advice at every stage of a workplace dispute, from early risk assessment through to advocacy before the courts. She has appeared before the Court of Appeal for Ontario and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.
Fluent in Korean, Sally is available to serve clients in both English and Korean. She is a member of the Korean Canadian Lawyers Association, and the International Association of Korean Lawyers. She is also a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Advocates’ Society.
Outside of work, Sally enjoys pilates, cooking, and spending time with her two young nieces.
Sally earned her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, where she completed the Labour and Employment Law Program. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (Honours with Distinction) from Queen’s University.
