Firm Manager

Leslie manages the business side of Piccolo Heath, so the legal team can focus on clients.

Leslie is currently serving as Acting Firm Manager while Courtney is on maternity leave, bringing a background in law firm management, human resources, and compliance to the role. Her experience shaped her into a pragmatic, client-focused operator who's equally comfortable in the weeds and thinking several steps ahead.

In previous roles, Leslie has led organizational, ERP, HR, and compliance functions, strengthening operational infrastructure and business continuity through policy development and process improvements. At Piccolo Heath, that translates into overseeing day-to-day operations, from finance and vendor management to HR, so the legal team can stay focused on clients.

What sets Leslie apart is her hands-on, straightforward approach. Originally from a small town on the Saskatchewan prairies, she values direct communication and strong community ties, and she'd rather solve a problem than manage it from a distance.

Leslie holds a BA in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Regina, is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) Candidate, and holds certifications from the Canadian Diversity Initiative.
