Charles Millar

Lawyer

Drawing on a deep understanding of both legal principles and human behaviour, Charles’ counsel is founded on years of experience advising and representing both employees and employers across the public and private sectors in complex workplace disputes.

Charles’ interest in employment law developed early, shaped by his experience working in human resources and recruitment during his undergraduate studies and further refined through his years working in litigation boutiques and academic research.

With a background in psychology, Charles brings a collaborative, people-centred approach to his practice. Prior to entering law, he worked as a research psychologist, leading a team examining decision-making processes and contributing to published research that received national attention. This foundation informs his ability to understand client motivations and develop practical, effective strategies tailored to each dispute.

Charles holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and a Master of Psychology from the University of Waterloo. Outside of practice, he enjoys reading, kayaking, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
